What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with library-related needs in person and via telephone
- Manage circulation procedures, including issuing and receiving library materials
- Maintain organization of library materials and ensure accurate shelving
- Support the training and supervision of work-study students
- Perform inventory of library equipment and gather statistical information as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- One (1) year of customer service experience, preferably in a library setting
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Computer skills required, including familiarity with library systems
- Ability to work independently and interact professionally with faculty and students
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience using PeopleSoft is a plus
