What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Make 72-hour courtesy calls to Urgent Care patients
- Communicate test results to patients in a timely manner
- Provide coverage for multiple Wellstar Urgent Care facilities
- Participate in training and meetings as required
- Address any IT issues that may arise during work hours
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date
- Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in an Urgent Care facility
- Hospital-based Emergency Department experience may substitute for Urgent Care experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional experience in a healthcare setting beyond the minimum requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient care
- Familiarity with telehealth or remote patient interactions
