      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide counseling and support services to high school students in the Special Education Department
      - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
      - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
      - Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
      - Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field
      - State certification as a School Counselor or eligibility to obtain certification
      - Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      - Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field
      - Bilingual in English and Spanish
      - Previous experience in developing and implementing IEPs
      - Knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations for students with disabilities
      - Experience with behavior intervention strategies
