      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Evaluate, license, and monitor child care programs to ensure compliance with regulations
      - Investigate complaints against licensed and illegally operating programs
      - Provide technical assistance and training to child care providers
      - Draft documentation, reports, and comments, and enter data into the regulatory system
      - Conduct on-site visits to assess compliance and provide support

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience in human services, developing relationships with diverse stakeholders
      - Knowledge of investigative techniques and experience writing investigation reports
      - Strong writing skills for complex case notes and reports
      - Ability to interpret and apply state statutes and administrative rules
      - Valid driver's license and at least 2 years of driving experience

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Professional experience in regulated child care or early care and education settings
      - Experience providing coaching or technical assistance in a child care setting
      - Background in preparing and testifying in court or administrative hearings
      - Familiarity with child care related automated systems
      - Experience conducting home visits or business site visits for regulatory purposes
