  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Monitor Internet-based and social media sources in specified languages using customer-defined criteria
  - Translate, summarize, analyze, and report on various media content, including technical material
  - Identify key themes, trends, and insights while capturing cultural and geopolitical context
  - Produce high-quality written products meeting strict editorial and formatting standards
  - Respond to evolving customer requirements by collecting data and publishing detailed reports
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - U.S. citizen
  - Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with less than 2 years of experience; additional years of experience may substitute for a degree
  - Professional-level foreign language proficiency (ILR 3 or higher on a translation test)
  - Experience as a foreign media collector, translator, analyst, technical officer, or journalist
  - Strong understanding of relevant media environments and advanced computer skills, including MS Office
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience translating or summarizing live or recorded audio/video content
  - Ability to quickly triage large volumes of material to isolate nuanced, high-value information
  - Successful completion of English and foreign language translation testing
