Description
Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal with BOTH New York and New Jersey Experience. Hybrid in-person/remote position. Start at 20 hours, move to full-time if performance meets expectations.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage all phases of litigation, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, to support case progression.
• Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case law to assist attorneys in developing case strategies.
• Maintain organized case files and manage electronic document databases to ensure easy access and retrieval.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case status.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing exhibits and summarizing transcripts.
• Monitor court deadlines and ensure all filings are completed promptly to avoid delays in proceedings.
Qualifications
• Experience in litigation support, with a focus on personal injury cases in both New York and New Jersey.
• Ability to draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests with precision.
• Proven track record of conducting thorough legal research and gathering relevant case law to aid in case strategy development.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed case files and manage electronic document databases efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts, ensuring clear and timely updates.
• Experience in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, including organizing exhibits and summarizing transcripts.
• Ability to monitor court deadlines diligently, ensuring timely completion of all filings to prevent delays in proceedings.About the company
