  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Manage a caseload of complex, high-exposure litigated claims across multiple jurisdictions
  - Direct litigation strategy and collaborate with counsel in the defense of assigned caseload
  - Achieve Claims Department goals for Settlement Days and Special Mediation settings
  - Serve as a specialist resource on Medicare issues and ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines
  - Mentor and assist less experienced claims representatives in managing complex claims
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred or a combination of industry work experience
  - 8+ years of claims handling experience, including investigation, evaluating, and negotiating settlements of workers' compensation claims
  - Associate in Claims (AIC) or other insurance designation preferred, or the ability to obtain
  - Valid driver's license is required
  - Texas-All Lines license preferred
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - AIM designation preferred
  - CPCU designation preferred
  - Experience managing toxic exposure claims or complex litigation cases
  - Knowledge of Medicare Set-Asides and compliance requirements
  - Proven track record of successful negotiation in high-stakes claims
