What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to university research focused on osteoarthritis and its progression
- Conduct multivariate analysis on Raman spectral data from bone samples
- Compare Raman spectral data with protein expression analysis
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data from participants
- Support the preparation of findings for publication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a current undergraduate student in Lancaster University Medical School
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data analysis techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in research or a related field
- Knowledge of osteoarthritis or bone health
- Familiarity with Raman spectroscopy or similar analytical techniques
- Interest in pursuing postgraduate education in a related area
