      THE ROLE

      The Senior Director, Strategy & Operations will work in close collaboration with the President, US Concerts Marketing and other senior executives from across the Live Nation ecosystem to organize business operations, oversee strategic business initiatives and improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity of the team. This leader will also work in close partnership with other marketing leads to identify opportunities and implement solutions that will support and drive success across the Concerts marketing department.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Lead aspects of strategy including but not limited to cross functional strategic projects, financial budgeting and planning, OKR development and new opportunity identification
      • Lead analysis of data analytics in partnership with the marketing, ticketing and talent analytics teams - compiling, and analyzing large volumes of data from disparate databases into distilled, actionable information needed by senior leadership to answer critical questions
      • Oversee Concerts marketing team reporting to senior executives both on an ad hoc and regular basis (including quarterly business reviews and annual budgeting/strategic planning process)
      • Evaluate and aid in the development & improvement of business operations within the Marketing team as well as with cross functional teams within the Concerts division.
      • Manage communication strategy, development & execution across Concerts Marketing teams as well internal and external stakeholders
      • Develop and manage employee onboarding process as well as annual goal setting and reviews in partnership with Concerts HR team
      • Manage annual budget and forecasting in partnership with Concerts Finance team and various marketing leads

      EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE DESIRED & QUALIFICATIONS:

      • 12+ years of strategy experience (internal corporate strategy or management consulting) with a focus on marketing or marketing specific project work
      • MBA preferred
      • Experience in data analysis and budget management
      • Experience working with and influencing senior level executives
      • Demonstrated experience in bringing strategies to life through written presentations
      • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
      • Ability to organize and direct multiple groups and understand the value of working as a team
      • Must have ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels
      • Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that are deadline sensitive
      • Strong presentation skills - both creative presentations (powerpoint and gsuite) as well as giving presentations to stakeholders at all levels
      • Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management
      • Entertainment industry experience a plus
      • International experience a plus

      The expected compensation for this position in California is:

      $148,000.00 USD - $185,000.00 USD
