- Req#: REQ-163338
- 3 – 5 years recent experience in the mortgage industry, with specific emphasis on loan origination functions
- 3 – 5 years recent experience as loan processor or loan closer, with emphasis on working with 3-party originators
- Knowledge of post-closing activities. These include recorded Deed of Trust, title policies and other processes occurring after loan closing.
- Knowledge of TRID procedures, with understanding of the Loan Estimate (LE) and Closing Disclosure (CD).
- Data input experience with loan origination software, with emphasis on “bridging” a loan into the loan servicing software.

The Department currently has an opening for one permanent full-time Loan Specialist 1- Post-Closing and Loan Coordinator within the Home Loan Services Division in Salem, Oregon.
The successful candidate for the Post-Closing and Loan Coordinator will the primary point of contact for Lender transactions, purchasing and follow up on all documents necessary to produce a complete file for submission to the loan servicing portfolio. This position will also work with the Broker Coordinators on post-closing activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years experience in either:
Preparing or analyzing residential, commercial, or public sector loan applications using cash flow, financial statements, historical and annual operation analyses; including collections and foreclosure procedures; or
Processing real estate transactions including qualifying, evaluating and extending credit to borrowers, and property inspections; or
Marketing, analyzing, servicing, or underwriting residential, commercial, or public sector loans; or
Economic or community development.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economic, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for the experience. An Associate's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or a related field may substitute for 18 months of the experience.
