      Jardeg is recruiting a labourer for maintenance work to join the Quinn Constructors LTD. team at the NOVA Chemicals site in JOFFRE, Alberta.       NOVA Chemicals’ Joffre manufacturing facility is located just east of Red Deer, Alberta and is one the largest ethylene and polyethylene production complexes in the world.       Jardeg Construction is currently seeking local labourers to join the team supporting NOVA at Joffre, AB for projects . These are Full Time Temporary positions on 4 and 3 with 10 hours a day. Tentative start date will be July 15, 2024 and duration is estimated to be 4-6 weeks.

      Only Candidates local to the Red Deer Area will be Considered

      Responsibilities:

      • Loading, unloading, waste material from tanks.
      • Spotting for heavy equipment (Guiding movement in and around work areas)
      • Cleaning of company and client vehicles and/or equipment
      • Identify and mitigate safety hazards.
      • Ensure that all training is kept current.
      • Understand and utilize the right and responsibility to stop unsafe work.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Minimum 2 years of turnaround experience.
      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.
      • CSTS-2020
      • ESC Fall Protection.
      • ESC Confined Space.
      • ESC Fire Watch
