What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify project scope, organize files in SDL WorldServer, and manage vendor allocation and Q&A
- Oversee localization of web content and software, including Localization QA
- Support project managers with daily tasks and assess localization requests from business teams
- Create and process translation projects, ensuring all administrative processes are completed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues related to source files, terminology, and language quality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in Localization Project Management
- Experience with computer-aided translation tools; SDL WorldServer experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in another language is desired
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of teamwork and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of localization best practices and experience in mitigating localization issues
