      This Opportunity

      Seeking a full-time Arrival Departure Air Handlers Control Group - ADACG Manager in Iraq, supporting the LOGCAP V contract. This position is tasked with performing management functions including coordinating, directing, controlling, and scheduling cargo services to assure timely and efficient air terminal operations. Cargo service duties will include accepting, storing, palletizing, transporting and documenting all applicable cargo. This position will report to the airfield manager.       Your Impact

      • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
      • Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
      • Load and unload cargo, and baggage moved on military and commercial contracted aircraft using all- terrain forklifts, K-loaders and commercial loading equipment.
      • Palletize, weight, transport and inspect incoming and outgoing cargo.
      • Review transportation authorizations for validity and accuracy.
      • Provide handling services of special category cargo.
      • Accept and sign out cargo from/to using agencies.
      • Prepare, complete, and maintain air movement records, documents, and reports.
      • Manifest cargo for military aircrafts using GATES.
      • Coordinate cargo through customs inspections.
      • Perform hazardous materials inspections.
      • Perform Joint Inspections on cargo.
      • Prepare aircraft load plans.
      • Experience with obtaining certification letters from the Air Transportation Test Loading Agency (ATTLA).
      • Uses all equipment safely
      • Performs other duties as required

      Who You Are

      Required Qualifications

      • Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
      • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
      • Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
      • Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
      • Must satisfy and maintain CENTCOM MOD-17 medical requirements
      • Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

      Additional Required Qualifications

      • Must be a US National and will be required to maintain NAC/Secret clearance.
      • Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: five years’ experience in the cargo services industry or related field, including serving in a leadership role as either supervisor or manager.
      • Hazardous Materials certification with the original course in residence
      • Joint Inspection certificate
      • Proficiency using GATES and GDSS2
      • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
      • Ability to work effectively with a multinational workforce.
      • Load and unload cargo, and baggage moved on military and commercial contracted aircraft using all-terrain forklifts, K-loaders, and commercial loading equipment.
      • Experience in palletizing cargo on single, multiple/married 463L pallets using side/top nets, straps, chain/devices to ensure proper restraint and balance requirements are applied. Compute and mark Center Weigh Balance (CWB).
      • Ensure all cargo processing and load planning functions are accomplished in accordance with AF 24-604, DTR 4500-9 PART 2 & 3 and other applicable regulations.
      • Ensure all Ammunition/HAZMAT cargo is safe for travel and Shipper’s Declaration of Dangerous Goods (SDDG) and labels are in place.
      • Experience with obtaining certification letters from the Air Transportation Test Loading Agency (ATTLA).
