      Airbus Helicopters is looking for a

      Logistics Inbound Manager (d/f/m)

      Your location
      At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

      Your tasks and responsibilities

      • to manage the incoming and warehousing material flows and processes (flows, work organization, bottlenecks)

      • to ensure adherence to our Logistics and Quality standards in operations

      • to be the business central point of contact for internal customers on issues relating to inbound topics

      • to be action and solution-oriented when pointing out any logistics-related problems and defining how exactly improving inbound process is achievable

      • to ensure compliance with the performance targets (WIP management, lead-times, visual management), to manage corrective actions and recovery plan when deviations occur

      • to monitor inventories and require optimum use of space in the warehouse

      • to implement trucks arrivals management in SAP (DAS)

      • to support customs clearance process with national authorities to enable flow of international traffic

      • to implement and enforce export control regulations in inbound (part segregation, part tracking, labelling...)

      • to manage and support all the different logistics service providers (statement of work, objectives, standards, performance)

      • to ensure a good working relationship with logistics contractors

      • to ensure compliance with regulatory, security and safety obligations (ISO14001, EN9100, HSE standards...) and to participate to audits

      • The job requires an harmonization of our logistics standards among the 4 different logistics sites in Marignane, Donauworth, Paris-Le-Bourget and Albacete. Frequent travels are required to share knowledge, experience and good practices


      Desired skills and qualifications

      • You have a Master´s degree in Global Logistics & Supply Chain or have acquired a long experience in the field of Global Logistics

      • You already have 3-5 years of experience in logistics operation, procurement business, quality management and production scheduling

      • You have experience in project management including associated tools

      • You have experience in managing contractors, stakeholders

      • You have a global understanding of Airbus Helicopters activities (global supply chain, transport, FAL, part production plant)

      • You have a very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office

      • You are characterized by service orientation and a sense of responsibility

      • You are business fluent in English and German (other language such as French and Spanish are clearly a plus)
