Job Description

- Provide 100% OTIF stock deliverables to internal customers (marketing) and distributors across Ghana.
- Support marketing department with adequate forecast module to ensure that the right volumes of stocks are ordered and maintain stock policy levels. Issues weekly reports on forecasted arrivals and corresponding anticipated impacts.
- Ensure all receipts and issues are updated in SAP via all sales orders, delivery orders and goods receipt.
- Supports production team through weekly collaborative meetings for visibility of product availability and support IMS to demonstrate zero OOS all year through.
- Ensure that BAT Ghana is compliant with stock policy at any point in time.
- Ensure alignment with Product Integrity & Traceability standards regarding finished products, shelf life management, storage and distribution in the BAT Warehouse and all depots across Ghana market.
- Maintain the Depots upgrade project to mitigate any incident to product quality and to give a high degree of quality maintenance at the various depots within the Cluster.
- Maintain a product complaints management system (in the CCRS data base) with high level accuracy when detected at any time.
- Make available to 3PL all documentation and correspondences needed to ensure smooth Customs Clearance for all inbound shipments. Ensure 3PL Key Performance Indicators are respected and heeded to.
- Manage Ghana warehouse EHS program to ensure compliance with group standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- 5 years’ of professional experience, in Logistics or Warehouse Management companies.
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and departments.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual, with a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions in Warehouse / Logistics operations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing logistics demands.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is essential. Experience with SAP is highly preferred.

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of the Operations – Logistics Subfunction of BAT Ghana.
The role is responsible for developing and managing the implementation of physical Logistics strategies in Ghana. In doing so, the Logistics Manager takes full accountability for Logistics related activities (both Financial and Service) and provides direction to ensure responsiveness to market changes, secure market supply, ensure achievement of optimal utilisation of resources and meet performance targets.
