Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the logistics and warehouse function, reporting to the Director of US operations. The role includes overseeing the overall process and procedures within the logistics and warehouse operations, with the objective of improving cost, service, and flexibility for the business, whilst creating a continuous improvement culture across the wider team.
Maintain a strong focus on both costs and quality reviewing productivities, accuracy levels and performance SLAs.
Presentation of project proposals, progress and best practice communicating to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain & improve metrics via data analysis, using internal and external reporting data.
Supporting and identifying Continuous Improvement plans in line with business objectives through by scoping and costing of proposed improvements.
Management and development of relationships with key stakeholders, including Supply Chain Development, Delivery Solutions, Logistics, Inbound Supply Chain, Finance, Legal & Technology.
Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Promote and improve Health and Safety metrics alongside our 3pl providers within our warehouses to support our business objectives
You will be based primarily in Atlanta building face to face relationships with our onsite 3PL partner.
Previous operational management experience of leading warehouse teams in an E–Commerce and retail environment is key for this role.
Managed large teams in and at a senior level within a warehousing environment.
Managing operational P&Ls successfully, understanding risks and opportunities and building financial budgets with a proven track record of successfully executing.
Working within and with 3PLs, supply chain partners and automation with a record in improving customer journey, quality and delivering cost saving initiatives
Enhancing performance levels and KPI’s through end-to-end supply chain management.
History of identifying and improving warehouse processes via multitude of lean tools, removing waste & Nonvalue added processes, managing third parties through change management.
Development & delivery of short, medium, long-term plans to support business growth.
Proven experience in presenting data, articulating the subject clearly and concisely.
Capable of thriving in a fast paced ever changing landscape where no day is ever the same.
Capability planning experience managing labour spend vs volume throughput to highlight risks & opportunities.
Developing warehouse operations, reacting to customer demands, changing landscapes, and evolving ways of working over several years of business growth.
Collaborating with Tech & Warehouse teams and WMS systems to support improvements in fulfilment centres.

About the Role
You will be instrumental in delivering the supply chain strategy, becoming the face of asos to our 3pl providers, creating and identifying opportunities for operational improvements, driving sustainability initiatives, leading and supporting a fantastic team of supply chain professionals. Working to deliver best in class operations, delivering cost savings via P&L and improving E2E customer experience. Our warehouse network includes 4 fulfilment centres and 5 returns centres, enabling us to provide next day delivery to most of our global customer base.
