      PURPOSE OF THE JOB

      • The Logistics manager is in charge of warehouse and transportation activities. She/he has to organize and overview logistics flow and operations according to AZDP and lean basics, ensuring the safe, correct and efficient material management

      MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

      • Responsible for logistics team and activities
      • Ensure material preservation and stock accuracy, apply Alstom rules in terms of counting. Special stock management
      • Contribute to define warehouse layout and manage location mapping according to flows optimization
      • Ensure kitting and line feeding
      • Draft and update packaging instruction
      • Perform custom clearance
      • Transportation management and shipments follow up
      • Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies
      • Manage the physical flow whether internally managed or subcontracted, and ensure the compliance of those activities with AZDP standards (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan)
      • Manage team : calculate workload, define management routines, implement development plans
      • Define and deploy logistics continuous improvement roadmap according to APSYS standards
      • Define and deploy improvement in order to reduce logistics costs
      • Provide reporting to management for the various supply chain KPI

      MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

      Educational Requirements

      Mandatory:

      • Engineering or Professional level qualifications in the supply chain/logistics areas

      Desirable:

      Experience

      Mandatory:

      • Strong Industrial and warehouse background
      • 5 years of recognized experience in the Logistics management within an international manufacturing company
      • Experience on 3PL management

      Desirable:

      • Knowledge of Transportation market
