      OVERVIEW The St. Charles plant is one of two recently acquired TNT pizza crust locations. It is located in a newer facility in the St. Louis suburbs of St. Charles County. It operates in a dynamic business environment with lots of current investment and growth. The St. Charles plant has become a strategic and critical plant to the NAF segment. The St. Charles Plant Logistics Manager is expected to be an active member of the plant leadership team and help set tactical as well as strategic the direction for the entire site of approximately 100 employees, with room to grow to 250+ employees. This position interacts with the Headquarters Logistics Operations and the business teams. This position reports to the Plant Manager and has a dotted line into the North American Logistics function. This role currently leads a team of 9 employees in the plant with 2 of them being direct reports. In addition to this work, this role will be expected to work with the business team ensuring success for materials and planning that will provide savings opportunities. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Champion a belief in zero human and food safety incidents and drive safety improvements in the Logistics organization and throughout the plant Drive a continuous improvement culture that improves plant operating results while maximizing customer service Exemplify Servant and Engaging Leadership and establish and maintain positive employee relations environment in the Logistics organization and throughout the plant Support the plant’s Zero Loss Culture mission and lead gap closure and process standardization for the Logistics organization Play to win as an active member of the Plant Leadership Team and provide counsel and support on key Logistics tactical and strategic initiatives Direct and lead plant staff in the development, prioritization, and implementation of key initiatives in support of the plant Master Plan and key Logistics priorities Act as a liaison between the plant and OU/Segment and support growth plans by ensuring the optimal flow and costs associated with new product introductions, reformulations, and line extensions Develop and own the Logistics budget. Develop and implement pipeline of productivity/HMM ideas that support the plant, Operating Unit, and Supply Chain needs Develop and communicate plans that ensure Logistics programs continue to meet changing customer service requirements Lead, mentor and develop Logistics team members Participate in Logistics specific project teams to drive network-wide process improvements and standardization MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in a related field 5 years of related logistics experience Breadth of Logistics experience across divisions and/or channels with a committment to safety and continuous improvement in the plant Strong understanding of overall plant operations and understanding of the impact of logistics upon the larger Supply Chain Thorough knowledge of GMI (or equivalent) logistics operations, procedures and information systems (e.g. WMS/RedPrairie, SAP, scheduling, planning) Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change with strong conceptual, analytical and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills with the ability to motivate, connect and develop others PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous plant or warehouse management experience is a plus with experience in a food related industry as an additional plus. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $90100.00 - $135300.00 / Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifictions, etc. As such, pay for the succesful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
