What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and lead the development of an LTL team, as well as carrier relationships
- Generate new revenue streams through growing and selling Refrigerated LTL services
- Review and interpret industry data, with the ability to communicate data points
- Communicate and execute LTL consolidation model(s)
- Negotiate rates with customers and carriers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Management, Logistics or related field, or 7+ years related experience
- Minimum of 3 years' Refrigerated 3rd party logistics LTL experience required
- High level analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to succeed with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative under ambiguous circumstances
- Proficient computer skills with PC-based desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel), email, and web-based meeting and presentation applications, as well as TMS
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Hub/Spoke Concepts, as well as Sales, Purchasing, or Account Management
