      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile medical records
      - Perform injections and assist with intraocular injections and laser procedures
      - Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits
      - Schedule new and return appointments, checking patients in and out of clinics
      - Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or equivalent
      - Must be Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or achieve this designation within 6 months of hire
      - Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card
      - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
      - Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in an ophthalmology or healthcare setting
      - Additional certifications related to medical assisting or patient care
      - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
      - Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
      - Bilingual skills in English and another language
