What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile medical records
- Perform injections and assist providers with medical exams and procedures
- Prepare and clean exam rooms, ensuring a sterile environment
- Submit medication prior authorizations and report abnormal lab values
- Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by recognized boards (CAAHEP or ABHES) or equivalent
- Must possess Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified designation or obtain within 6 months of hire
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work full-time on a day shift schedule
