What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and track Federal and State behavioral health priorities and policies
- Develop budget planning for state budget decision packages
- Develop public presentations on current activities based on legislative actions
- Evaluate the quality of division legislative work
- Represent the agency with Legislative inquiries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in related fields and 5 years of experience
- Experience in health policy research, analysis, or process improvement
- Analyzing policies related to Medicaid covered services
- Project Management skills
- Healthcare Policy development experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with community behavioral health systems
- Stakeholder identification and management skills
- Knowledge of State and Federal laws related to behavioral health
