Position Description:
Ecompex, Inc. is currently recruiting Operations Analysts to be a part of a team supporting the Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) with program planning and acquisiton assistance. The team will provide workforce planning, market research and analysis, recommendations, document development, and subject matter expertise. The ideal candidate for this position will use their expertise in organizational analysis to develop recommendations for senior leadership.
Work location will be primarly remote, with occasional meetings in Washington, DC.
Full-Time, Salaried position. Approximately 40 hours per work week.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
• Eight (8) years of experience in business analysis, operations research, or management
• Experience with government acquisition procedures and policies
• Must be a US Citizen
Desired Qualifications:
• Strong preference give to candidates who have worked with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
Required Skills:
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Word, Excel
• Strong communication, written, and verbal skills
• Ability to research, analyze data/trends, and present to executive level leadership
Responsibilities:
The Operations Analyst will support strategic initiatives for FMCSA programs. Responsiblities include, but are not limited to:
• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations
• Measure work performance and develop recommendations to improve metrics
• Design systems and procedures for improved work efficiency
• Analyze performance data and develop reports
• Develop operations and procedural manuals
• Interface with senior leadership and Government stakeholders
