      Purpose & overall relevance to the organization:

      We are seeking an exceptionally creative, experienced, and forward-thinking Brand Communications Manager to join our Comms team for adidas Originals in DACH. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of creating groundbreaking brand activations for adidas Originals. You will be responsible for the successful execution of campaigns including the creative concept development together with creative agencies, the execution of shootings and events, but also the media spend planning. You will be able to implement your very profound interest in fashion and lifestyle to create brand consideration and brand love with our consumers and ultimately drive sales for adidas Originals in D/A/CH.


      You will be closely working together with the PR, Culture Marketing and Sports Marketing teams, the Publishing team and the European and Global Brand Comms teams. Being passionate about connecting people, challenging old ways of thinking, being an excellent and transparent communicator and having an open mind are crucial to this role.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Manage and execute adidas Originals activation plans for holistic campaigns in DACH across all communication channels (Comms, PR, social/digital, event) in collaboration with the Europe and Global Originals teams and in close alignment with your Line Manager
      • Ensure all consumer touchpoints (comms, publishing, sports marketing, culture marketing, key city activation, membership) are aligned with regional-specific circumstances according to net sales
      • Be ahead of all Global and European adidas Originals strategies and communication plans and brief creative agencies to ensure perfect execution and aligned creation for DACH
      • Analyze the performance of key campaigns and provide actionable feedback to the teams
      • Ensure that all Brand Marketing tactical steps meet brand standards, KPIs, budget targets and timelines
      • Manage, foresee, and plan the adidas Originals Comms annual calendar for DACH in collaboration with the publishing team and ensure activities are integrated with the Global/European marketing calendar
      • Actively come up with creative ideas and execute hyperlocal relevant activations together with creative agencies based on lifestyle trends and latest developments of the industry and target audience.

      Knowledge, skills and experience:

      • Very good and transparent communication and presentation skills
      • Very good organizational, planning and project management skills
      • Experience with the planning and execution of 360° brand campaigns (Publishing and PR expertise a plus)
      • very high fashion and lifestyle affinity
        - Fluent in written and spoken English and German
      • Experience in a matrix organization a plus
        - Advanced user skills in MS Office

      Required experience/qualifications:

      • Ideally at least 5 years of relevant experience in brand communications (marketing, PR, publishing) preferably in the sporting goods and/or fashion industry
