  The following position is to join RTX Corporate :

  Manager, Brand Journalism (Remote)

  Primary Responsibilities:

  • Report and write interesting, newsworthy stories that support the company’s major business imperatives.
  • Bring the team's messaging to life through skillful interviewing, sharp writing and alluring, informative visuals and audio.
  • Work within the Channel, Content & Design team and partner with a range of colleagues across the company. That includes planning stories in collaboration with our business communicators, coordinating support with our video, web design and social media teams.
  • Report and write interesting, newsworthy stories that support the company’s major business imperatives.
  • Publish on a variety of channels including our external and internal websites, our social media accounts, and in third-party sponsored-content projects.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working either as a reporter at a print, broadcast or all-digital news organization, OR as a brand journalist at a mid-sized to large company, a government agency or public relations firm.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience covering aerospace and defense

  The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
