Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business required, plus a minimum of 10 years prior marketing experience, preferably for a multi-unit retail brand.
Advertising agency experience, preferably in an account management role would be highly beneficial to this role.
Thorough understanding of retail marketing planning and analytical principles, including market research (qualitative and quantitative), sales analysis, and promotion performance analytics.
Aftermarket automotive industry experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including creating and presenting influential content to large audiences.
Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, including limited project planning and management.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously through effective delegation to internal and external teams.

Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for planning and development of all customer facing brand communications in a timely, quality, and cost effective manner. Ensure internal and external marketing resources are optimally deployed to deliver desired results.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
35% - Lead creative development process for all national, regional and local marketing needs. Determine optimal mix of internal vs. external creative development. Critical responsibilities include strategy development, briefing, creative review and approvals, budget (2025 approximately $3 MM/year) along with timeline management process for all campaigns. Ensure all brand communications (owned, earned, and paid media) represent a consistent high quality brand voice, look and feel.
25% - In partnership with the Manager of Customer Acquisition and Retention, manage brand/creative and external communications agency relationships. Manage performance, development and deliverables of Media and Brand Strategist. Ensure account structure is meeting Les Schwab requirements. Regularly review agency roster and provide strategic guidance as required by performance and marketing plans. Plan and support 2-4 in person meetings with key agencies per year.
15% - Manage national promotional calendar to maximize topline sales and gross profit. Develop recommendations and participate with product and promotions group. Collect feedback on promotions from stores via regional marketing teams to ensure needs are being met and that tactics are being continuously improved. Lead promotional analysis process in conjunction with customer insights and business intelligence teams.
15% - Represent brand strategy via active participation on the marketing leadership team to assist with crafting national marketing plans. Work within the leadership team to optimize performance of the marketing team (including employees and agencies).
10% - Manage all aspects of in house creative services work and team, including oversight of projects, priorities and quality of deliverables and performance and development of team members.
