A key part of this role will see you manage the core business of claims management within Subsidence Advisory NSW (SA NSW).The Manager Claimant Outcomes provides functional and process leadership through effective management of the day to day functioning of the claimant outcome team. This management position plays an integral role managing internal and external relationships.
Key responsibilities
- You will define, lead and continually improve all aspects of the subsidence claims process
- This business critical role manages the strategic direction of claims and provide client-focused approach to service delivery
- You will be accountable for the practical administration of the Coal Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 2017 with regard to claims managementKey challenges
- Managing expectations, consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, given the complexity, contentiousness and sensitivity of claims and projects
- Keeping up to date with the range, pace and complexity of information and knowledge required to deliver quality service and outcomes to claimants in a complex regulatory environment with competing priorities and short timeframes
- Maintaining a high level of understanding and knowledge of leading practice and evidence in claims management to develop best practice quality models to reflect business priorities while balancing competing demands of budget, financial sustainability, reform and resourcesTo be successful you will:
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive customer and stakeholder relationships
- Have a strong understanding of policy development and evaluation including process driven capabilities
