      Reporting to the Senior Manager Commercial Partnerships, the Manager, Commercial Partnerships is responsible for co-creating and executing the partnership strategy, contract negotiations, and ongoing relationship management for key strategic partners across the Qantas Group, in order to achieve the company’s customer, transformation and brand objectives.

      You will be required to manage complex strategic partnerships with multiple touch points across the Qantas Group, evaluate and articulate opportunities to improve commercial partnerships and determine how Qantas will focus resources, capabilities and activities to represent Qantas interests and achieve the targeted Qantas experience.

      Your ability to identify, synthesise, and prioritise the business requirements of large stakeholder groups, and translate these into measurable, contractable, commercial outcomes will be key to your success in this role.

      This role also has commercial responsibility for tracking and articulating the budget for Qantas Digital, including risks and spend opportunities, as well as managing the financial relationships necessary to ensure smooth operation across the portfolio. Stakeholder management and co-ordination, as well as the production of materials facilitating delivery governance and financial management is a critical skill and success determinant of this role.

      You’ll have –

      • 8+ years of senior executive leadership in a large, complex matrix organisation.

      • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or a related discipline.

      • Experience in leading the delivery of large scale and complex commercial negotiations across multiple business units.

      • Experience in driving results in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.

      • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, contribute and create effective teamwork across traditional organisational boundaries.

      • Experience in strategy development and execution

      • Senior executive level stakeholder management skills with an ability to influence/negotiate positive outcomes.

      • Advanced decision-making skills with the ability to appropriately delegate.

      • Motivational skills in coaching and leading individual and team performance to the desired capability.

      • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
