      Overview

      The Manager, Consumer Loan Processing is responsible for directing, coordinating, and leading the activities of the consumer lending fulfilment team. Ensuring the productivity of the team supports credit union strategic priorities and goals with a focus on member financial wellbeing and experience. This person will collaborate internally with various departments at all levels.


      Responsibilities

      • Leads the Consumer Lending fulfillment team
      • Develops and mentors department supervisors
      • Ensures department is meeting or exceeding all production, quality, compliance, and member experience objectives
      • Ensures policies and procedures are current and address regulatory requirements associated with the fulfilment of all consumer lending products (auto, secured, unsecured personal loans and credit cards)
      • Identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities and cost saving initiatives
      • Ensures department is well-trained and optimized
      • Manages change controls, internal communications, and internal readiness
      • Conducts performance analytics/department and capacity planning reporting
      • Ensures the team at all levels understands how they can actively support Patelco’ s mission to build members financial health and wellbeing
      • Develops succession planning
      • Project management
      • Understands and complies with all applicable federal and state laws and banking regulations (including those related to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering compliance) and Patelco Credit Union’s policies and procedures

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
      • 7+ years previous consumer or mortgage lending leadership required
      • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

      Physical Activities/Requirements

      • Standing requirements - May need to stand for long periods of time.
      • Sitting requirements - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
      • Lifting or carrying weight limits - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

      Target Base Pay

      $88,488-$110,607 per year
