Establish KPIs in Safety, Quality, Productivity and Inventory controls to drive operational excellence.
Oversees storage, receiving and distribution of finished goods and components, to meet customer service levels and operations requirements
Oversees all pallet return programs, ensuring tracking and record keeping
Oversees all finished good and component waste recycling and disposal programs
Facilitates all finished good inventory returns
Supports IAR (items at risk) program for finished goods and components, through identification, consolidation and timeous disposal within key time frames
Oversees and facilitates all finished goods and component inter warehouse logistics
Liaises with Sales & Customer Service to ensure optimal order fulfillment to Customers & Warehouses
Supports daily production by picking components and staffing 2 x Glass and 1 x Can depalletizer, staffing finished goods palletizer and staffing all finished good put aways
Maintains and supports accurate inventory control through support of the daily cycle count program, maintaining accurate and consistent use of RFA Smart/inventory location control
Manages and directs hourly and salary employees in the warehouse, including performance management, employee relations, employee training and development
Establishes & reports Warehouse performance metrics (Productivity, Storage Efficiency) and conducts regular business analytics
Develops warehouse layout and optimizes allocation of space
Leads team to achieve customer service targets and order fulfillment.
Manages JDA system parameters, ensuring minimal inventory without risking out of stock in owned inventory warehouses and 3 PLs.
Manages/oversees all business distribution including the management of 18 wheels, Artus bottling, Estates and inventory reconciliations.
Develops, manages & expedites all replenishment activities into Connect Logistics between distribution points in the East and West, including Niagara Falls and Rougemont.
Supports DTC fulfillment for Western Canada, participating in DTC project teams and management of inventory in DTC warehouse locations.
Negotiates applicable outbound Transportation contracts and outside component warehouse storage contracts.
Supports the process of developing annual budgets, performance metrics and executes operations against the financial plan
Supports a culture of accountability, change and continuous improvement.
Drives Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve internal and external customer service delivery and improve cost efficiencies and operations output.
Maintains accurate and timely inventory movement records in the system including end of month closings.
Liaison with National logistic teams
Ensures compliance to ISO, HACCP and WorkSafeBC regulations.
6 years leadership in warehousing and logistics.
Advanced knowledge of Advanced Warehouse Management Systems (AWM)
Advanced knowledge in analytics
Advanced knowledge in order management & warehousing best practices

We are currently recruiting for a detail oriented, process and quality focused team player who is self-motivated and goal driven to fill the position of Manager, Distribution based out of our Oliver, BC Production Facility / Jackson-Triggs Winery.The Jackson-Triggs Winery is a full-service operation from harvest through to final distribution; operating year-round and producing some of the industry’s most awarded wines. The Role:

Compensation : Budgeted Range – $ 101,355.00 - $131,165.00.
The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
