- Work independently in key areas of supplier management, product development and program management for assigned commodities with oversight from FF&E Sourcing Director.
- Manage FF&E sourcing initiatives with little management oversight, including bidding, analysis, coordination of design reviews, and award recommendations.
- Support product development through the review of shop drawings and working with design teams and suppliers on value engineering.
- Evaluate and recommend suppliers for Hilton’s FF&E programs, including evaluating product quality, production capability, sales and support capabilities, and financial stability.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the categories assigned and provide insight and innovation to all internal Hilton departments, including the development of Brand Standards.
- Support Hilton’s responsible sourcing initiatives, particularly in regard to supplier diversity and sustainability.
- Negotiate with suppliers to define program expectations, program pricing, warranties and inventory levels.
- Monitor and manage suppliers for quality and cost, functioning as primary point of contact for Quality Assurance (QA) issues.
- Ensure on-time update and data accuracy in Hilton’s operating systems such as SmartSpend, intranet.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 7 years of project procurement / supplier (design, furniture, etc) experience in hospitality environment.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Willing to learn new knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and relation-building skills, able to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Able to supervise and coach junior team members.
- Able to lead other team members and provide guidance on projects.
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of business fundamentals.
- Ability to understand and evaluate shop drawings and architectural drawings.
- Strong sense of urgency and customer service.
- Be able prioritize responsibilities when faced with multiple, fast paced projects.
- Knowledge on innovation and trends in the industry.
- Global supply chain and procurement management experience.

The Manager, FF&E Procurement (Hilton Garden Inn) - Greater China & Mongolia reports into the Director, FF&E Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. The primary responsibilities are to negotiate, execute and manage supplier partnerships for Hilton’s Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) programs for Hilton Garden Inn Hotel (HGI) in Greater China. Team member is responsible for providing critical expertise to all internal and stakeholders on the roll out and maintenance of Hilton’s FF&E programs.What will I be doing?
