- Maintains computerized fleet tracking and maintenance program.
- Develop and manage KPIs, Metrics, and incentives for meeting and exceeding assignment and utilization expectations, CPM, Maintenance, PM Compliance, and Idle Time
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the effective and efficient management of the company fleet.
- Determines current and future fleet needs by collecting and analyzing vehicle records, operating and repair costs, and fuel consumption.
- Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors and service providers.
- Reviews and approves maintenance/repair estimates using company-defined maintenance/repair criteria.
- Monitors fuel card programs and reporting systems, familiar with fraud detection.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assists in the preparation of capital and expense budgets.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Assist with warehousing of inventory supplies and/or equipment.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or technical certification preferred, high school education required.
- 5+ years related experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
- Strong analytical skills – ability to articulate resolutions to challenges encountered.
- Technically automotive inclined with a strong desire to learn new tools and acquire new skill sets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with third-party fleet management databases.
- Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, IRP.
- Possess strategic and critical thinking skills.
- Capable of contributing both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Skilled at managing competing priorities.
Job Description:Pay Range: $95,000-$105,000
Summary
The Supply Chain & Fleet Organization provides guidance and leadership to the divisions and regions on all aspects of USIC’s fixed/rolling/leased/licensed/owned/titled assets (facilities, inventory, vehicles, and equipment) including but not limited to, specification, acquisition, fuel, collision and maintenance, license and title, and disposal.
The Manager of Fleet and Supply chain is a cross-functional role that is responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the HQ Supply Chain and Fleet Organization. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of 3k motor vehicles and equipment. Prior fleet management experience is critical as successful candidates must have the ability to ensure vehicles are operating in safe mechanical conditions. Provides subject matter guidance to direct reports. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists in the development and meeting of departmental budget and forecasting.
