      Fulfillment and Manufacturing Manager

      We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Fulfillment and Manufacturing to oversee the efficient and effective operation of our fulfillment and production operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership abilities, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse, distribution, and production processes. The Manager, Fulfillment and Manufacturing will play a key role in achieving high levels of safety, optimizing the supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

      Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

      1. Operational Leadership:
        • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the fulfillment and manufacturing operations.
        • Ensure the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
        • Lead the team in safety improvement initiatives and drive safety engagement.
        • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency, minimize errors, and reduce costs.
        • Lead the production team to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
        • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
      2. Team Management:
        • Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team.
        • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
        • Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
      3. Process Improvement:
        • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity.
        • Implement best practices in warehouse and distribution operations.
        • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
        • Implement ABC analysis and determine optimal inventory storage guidelines.
      4. Logistics and Transportation:
        • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
        • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to transportation, logistics and on time delivery.
      5. Quality Control:
        • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
        • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in shipments and inventory using root cause corrective actions.

      We believe the successful candidate will have:

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
      • Proven experience (10+ years) in warehouse/distribution management and production management in roles of increasing responsibility.
      • Strong knowledge of distribution and logistics processes.
      • Strong data analysis skills.
      • Extensive experience in process mapping, root cause analysis, 5-why and Ishikawa.
      • Demonstrated experience leading fulfillment best practices.
      • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
      • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
      • Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE a plus).
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

      Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role in most us locations is $104,000-$127,000.
