      Description

      SCOPE / DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

      Accountable / Key purpose:

      The role encompasses the following activities:
      • Oversee the execution of the assigned Data processes by the third-party service provider to ensure consistency and accuracy in all areas
      • Knowledge/Support in all areas and exception approval/rejection/escalation in close cooperation with GDO
      • Minimize process exceptions, where necessary ensure any deviation adhere to Global Data Standards and the Service Catalogue
      • As Data Business Partner ensure collaboration with markets and Offshore teams is and remains productive
      • Deliver against relevant Data SLAs and KPIs
      • Manage off-shore resources as a cohesive team
      • Be a trusted, knowledgeable, and reliable true Business Partner
      • Closely work with the corresponding Global Data Owner to drive continuous improvement, delivering projects and process standardisation to improve data quality, user experience and customer satisfaction
      • Build a close relationship between GFS, the offshore service providers and our internal stakeholders and customers


      SCOPE:
      • Global scope covering all end-to-end Data services around core Master Data Objects across all RB Business Units and ERP platforms
      • Manage a team of off-shore resources as a cohesive team
      • Together with the Global Data Operations Lead and corresponding GDO identify and manage Stakeholders for the assigned Data Object (incl. internal GFS, local management teams, FCs and FDs in Markets / Supply, external service providers and Corporate Controls, etc).

      Accountabilities:
      • Deliver sustained high level of Data Quality
      • Monitor and proactively manage Data processes end-to-end for highest level of customer satisfaction
      • Foster culture of continuous improvement
      • Develop talented team members to grow into true Data Business Partners
      • Delivery of high-quality day-to-day Data services in scope - evidenced via SLAs and KPIs for Data met on a consistent basis and measurement of internal customer satisfaction
      • Oversee and manage operations of data management processes in scope
      • Document standard work instructions and ensure they are comprehensive and always up-to-date, fully aligned with global SOPs, and implement in accordance with the control framework
      • Process improvements / system changes are implemented / retrofitted across all markets/geographies with appropriate change managements and communication
      • Ensure high quality training is provided to support the transition of processes to external service providers
      • Participate to identify and exchange best practice and drive training within the team
      Qualification and experience:

      • Degree qualified or equivalent
      • Experience of working in a complex organisation with a global scope. FMCG or similar sector experience
      • Experience of working in a project environment
      • Proven proficiency with Excel
      • ‘Data mindset’ with good understanding of different ERP platforms and Data Governance tools.
      • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of End-to-End Data management processes
      • Hands-on experience in data management & process improvement
