- General accounting, preparing, and posting journal entries such as accruals, deferrals, reclassification and interdepartmental entries into ledgers, scrutiny, and reconciliation.
- Inter-company accounting, recording and reconciliation as per defined timeline.
- Knowledge of key areas of finalization of books of accounts in multiple locations – multi currency environment including consolidation.
- Experience in handling month-end activities including preparation of all Balance Sheet/ Income Statement schedules.
- Analytical review of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Generating financial reports.
- Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
- Coordinate with auditors, provide requisite details and resolve queries.
- Ability to work independently.
- Chartered Accountant having 7-10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably from IT/ITeS or research industry.
- At least 3 years’ experience preparing the Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and Income Statement.
- Experience of working in multi-currency multi location environment.
- Well versed with accounting principles under IGAAP and USGAAP.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver in time.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, ERP & NetSuite accounting software.
- Good communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Focus on details, quality improvement, automation of processes and capacity building.
- Flexible to work in UK/USA shifts, per business requirements.
