  G/L Role

  • General accounting, preparing, and posting journal entries such as accruals, deferrals, reclassification and interdepartmental entries into ledgers, scrutiny, and reconciliation.
  • Inter-company accounting, recording and reconciliation as per defined timeline.
  • Knowledge of key areas of finalization of books of accounts in multiple locations – multi currency environment including consolidation.
  • Experience in handling month-end activities including preparation of all Balance Sheet/ Income Statement schedules.
  • Analytical review of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Generating financial reports.
  • Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
  • Coordinate with auditors, provide requisite details and resolve queries.
  • Ability to work independently.

  Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Chartered Accountant having 7-10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably from IT/ITeS or research industry.
  • At least 3 years’ experience preparing the Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and Income Statement.
  • Experience of working in multi-currency multi location environment.
  • Well versed with accounting principles under IGAAP and USGAAP.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver in time.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office, ERP & NetSuite accounting software.
  • Good communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Focus on details, quality improvement, automation of processes and capacity building.
  • Flexible to work in UK/USA shifts, per business requirements.
