      Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services.

      Position Summary:

      The Manager Gero Psych is responsible to manage and supervise all aspects of patient care activities in the psychiatric acute care setting. Responsible to respond to changes in unit status. Responsible in oversight of department in conjunction with department Director. Knowledge and experience in Gero/Psych nursing; Advanced computer skills. Ability to adapt to change. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties. Excellent customer service skills.

      Requirements:

      • High School Diploma/GED
      • Licensed RN in the State of Arizona
      • Associates degree in nursing
      • BLS
      • Fingerprint Clearance Card

      Preferred:

      • Bachelor's Degree
      • Masters Degree
      • 5+ years of experience
      • Leadership experience
