      Responsibilities

      As each region (EMEA, Americas, APAC, China, and Japan) moves towards a global harmonization approach, there are many dependencies and business-critical events to be considered. For our business community, it is essential we ensure a stable and highly available harmonized global operation through reliable processes. This position will be responsible for the end-to-end operational governance and global support of the Operation and Process Harmonization to ensure that current and future business requirements are met. You will work closely together with the global and regional process owners and IT functional and technical teams.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      Operational Process Harmonization:

      Manage the WRICEF and Process Harmonization of global operational objects.

      Effectively manage risk, actions, issues, and decision items.

      Review and authorize global processes and solutions to maintain harmonization integrity across regions.

      Assess and determine requirements to escalate from regional process teams.

      Review integration and interim solutions provided by regional process teams and IT teams.

      Evaluate business and functional impact, such as EDI between regions.

      Conduct operational surveys for the latest S/4 version along with the IT functional team (e.g., 1909 vs 2023).

      Process Thread Representative:

      Configure global operational objects to ensure harmonization.

      Initiate collaboration and cooperation between business and IT functional lead groups.

      Coordinate and cooperate with other departments within Sysmex to support objectives.

      Establish and provide an effective operational landscape, standard, guidelines, and expertise.

      Anticipate and manage business issues to minimize impact; analyze and progress issues to resolution.

      Collaborate closely with global and regional cross-functional teams to ensure reliable operational process harmonization.

      Work with functional and technical teams to consider interdependencies/dependencies, including global landscape considerations.

      BAU Measuring Governance:

      Establish processes for monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of operational governance.

      Trading Compliance Management - GTS: Global Trade Services

      Qualifications

      Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred). 10+ years experience REQUIRED.

      Proven experience in operational governance, process harmonization, or related fields.

      Strong understanding of SAP functions, including OTC, PTP, PTD, WTD, RTR, and GTS.

      Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

      Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

      Strong project management and risk management skills.

      Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment.

      Proactive and able to anticipate business issues.
