      The Team:

      Mattel is on a journey to evolving our approach to Asset Creation and Production. We have recently invested in new technologies and tools, both having a sizable impact on the way we work. As part of this transformation, Mattel is standing up a newly created organization in support of our brands and is looking for a Manager, Human Resources to serve as the primary HRBP for this function.

      This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about developing new functional capabilities and driving organizational change within a globally recognized company. This position requires change management experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to effectively collaborate within highly matrixed functional areas.

      Job Description

      The Opportunity:

      • Own the day-to-day HRBP responsibilities tied to the employee lifecycle.
      • Serve as a trusted advisor and change agent to business leaders and collaborate on strategic HR initiatives to support business objectives.
      • Implement & mobilize change management plans that align with the organization's vision and goals, ensuring successful execution and adoption.
      • Coach and support managers in effectively managing change to their respective teams, along with other HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition and retention.
      • Develop and implement HR programs and policies that align with company values and promote a positive work environment.
      • Drive talent management initiatives, including the Org & Talent Planning (OTP) process including Accelerated Performance, Succession Planning, and Development.
      • Partner with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to such as compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee engagement.
      • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, adapting and applying them to the organization as appropriate.
      • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments.
      • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure the alignment of change management efforts with other HR programs and initiatives.

      Qualifications

      What We’re Looking For:

      • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
      • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager, with a focus on change management.
      • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
      • Demonstrated experience in implementing change management plans in complex organizational environments.
      • Ability to analyze and interpret data to assess the impact of change and measure success.
      • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
      • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

      • Must be a strong leader, able to lead cross functional teams and meetings with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

      • Self-starter/able to get things done in an entrepreneurial fashion

      Salaried: To be used for positions up to Director level:
      The annual base salary range for this position is between $115k and $140k
      **This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
