For our location at Darmstadt (Germany) we’re looking for an EDI Subject Matter Expert to join our Global IT Team from November 1st, 2024 (preferred start date)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Embedded in an international team, spread across the USA, Europe and Asia, you’ll be mainly but not exclusively responsible for the support, maintenance and further development of the Austrian, German and Swiss EDI environment. In any EDI related matter, you’ll be the first point of contact for our internal departments. You will keep and maintain the technical contacts to our external partners and will participate in Coty internal global IT projects.

• Cooperation with internal departments and external partners to maintain and modify existing EDI partnerships
• Implementation of new EDI relationships upon Coty or partner requests
• Provision of support to the business in day-to-day issues and demands
• Regular EDI related meetings with business units like Sales and Key Account Management
• Consulting of the business in questions of best practices, both in EDI and SAP
• Revision of the existing system to find opportunities for streamlining and simplification
• Continuation of the system documentation
• Cooperation with the SAP development teams in regard of new/modified interfaces
• Participation in global IT projects
• Synchronization and prioritization of tasks and workloads with the EDI manager
• Creation of transport instructions for and confirmation of execution of release changes

THE COTY IDEAL FIT

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Business Administration or a similar level of experience
• Knowledge of a recognized EDI Business Integration Suite, preferably iWay from IBI as used by Coty globally
• Fluent in English and German, knowledge of further languages is appreciated
• Fundamental knowledge of SAP, especially SD and interfaces (Idocs)
• Knowledge of MS Office products, Teams, Outlook
• Structured and independent way of working, self organized and self-motivated
• Customer and result oriented
• Capable to work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision in a fast spaced and challenging environment
• Communicative, ability to work in an international team
