      Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

      POSITION SUMMARY:

      Manufacturing Maintenance Manager overseeing teams including; Skilled Trades

      (Tool & Die, Electricians, Millwrights), Facility Engineer and Machine Technicians

      The manufacturing facility is a 30,000 sq metre automotive Tier 1 supplier, that follows JIT and

      TPS / Lean Manufacturing practices, providing highest quality HVAC and engine cooling systems

      to our customers.

      RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:

      Safety - Sets targets and ensures the team is trained and performs all work safely, conforming to

      all legislative and DENSO specific requirements including Contractor safety.

      Quality - Ensure the company has an effective maintenance management system. Manages the

      contracts for supplies and services related to machinery & equipment, facilities and utilities.

      Delivery - Ensures assets are maintained to prescribed standards to maximize reliability and

      productivity; plan, organize and control facilities related projects, including machinery, equipment

      and electrical and mechanical systems. Maintain and improve tools and equipment to increase

      production ratio performance.

      Cost Management - Create and Manage the facility's and production equipment budgets;

      plan, organize, control and evaluate the maintenance of facilities and production equipment

      including grounds keeping, manage and maximize efficiency of spare parts inventory.

      Human Resources - Manage and develop Direct and Indirect Reports.

      Work as a team with Operations and Support Departments to achieve plant Goals and Objectives.

      Interface with leadership at affiliated DENSO plants, with local vendors of tools & equipment,

      with contractors (equipment installations, property & facility maintenance) and with utility partners.

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      Skilled Trade Certificate(s)

      5+ Years Management Experience

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      Technical Skills in Multiple Disciplines, including Tool & Die

      College Diploma or University Degree in Engineering

      Project Management/Contractor Management Experience

      Automotive Industry Experience
