      Job Description

      Essential Duties and Job Functions:

      • Develop & implement the local value story in alignment with the global value story

      • Develop & implement the local pricing & reimbursement strategy

      • Responsibility for the local pricing & reimbursement dossiers (preparation including Health Economic Outcome data and submission)

      • Reimbursement negotiations: Prepare & support negotiations with internal & external stakeholders

      • Achieve optimal Market Access conditions (early and optimal value-based access)

      • Assess, plan and support the implementation of health economic outcome research studies and epidemiologic data collection projects to support Market Access claims

      • the pricing and reimbursement of competitors and consider the impact on business strategy caused by competitors' actions

      • Develop and implement the key accounts action plans and analyze Saudi market potentiality.

      • Monitor and Ensure Gilead product availability on Saudi market for Gilead

      • Manage Public Tender Quantities allocated with the cross-functional internal team stakeholders based on the market needs.

      • Manage and facilitate payer discussion and drive business growth in Saudi Market.

      • Monitor regulatory environment and anticipate the financial impact of legislation changes; quantify the risks and opportunities for Gilead

      • Internal cross functional collaboration especially within the brand team(s)

      • Interacting with International Gilead Market Access functions

      • Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

      • Bachelor’s degree on Pharmacy

      • Master’s degree in health economics or Business administration.

      • Exceptionally strong strategic and analytical skills

      • Strong negotiation skills

      • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

      • Solid understanding of the Saudi healthcare landscape, Market Access and procurement process

      • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with different functions and lead workstreams in a matrix organization.

      • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines, balancing short-term urgencies with long-term importance

      • Ability to develop, drive and implement projects in cooperation with internal and/or external parties

      • Fluent in Arabic and fluent in English
