Job Purpose:
Our Mergers & Acquisition Analysis Manager will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analyses, performing rigorous due diligence, and assisting in the seamless execution of high-value transactions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.Job Responsibilities:
● Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial models to assess the potential value and impact of M&A transactions, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, comparable company analysis, and accretion/dilution analysis, LBO, ROIC.
● Due Diligence: Assist in conducting comprehensive due diligence for M&A transactions, including reviewing financial statements, identifying risks and opportunities, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Ability to build 3 statement operating model
● Market Research: Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, market trends, and growth opportunities.
● Transaction Support: Support senior team members in all aspects of the M&A process, including deal sourcing, negotiation, structuring, and closing.
● Documentation and Reporting: Strong presentation skills. Prepare presentation materials (PowerPoint), investment memos, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing key findings and recommendations.
● Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and potential acquisition targets to gather information, address inquiries, and facilitate communication throughout the M&A process.Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
● Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
● Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.● CFA preferred.
Work Experience:
● 3-5 years of related job experience.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.● Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:
