      The Technologies and Projects Executive Division is one of the largest IT functions in Quebec, with nearly 7,000 employees. In this executive division, you’re part of a team that supports Desjardins Group’s strategic initiatives and drives modernization. As a Manager, IT Risk, your team helps the executive division’s business sectors and teams analyze and manage their IT risks. You’ll be responsible for risk profiles and supporting various business segments with audits, inspections and action plan development, as well as crisis management and business continuity plan for the executive division. We’re looking for an optimistic leader with a proven track record who always sets a great example for their team. The ideal candidate is an advocate for change. You must not be afraid to question the status quo, and you should know how to motivate a team and launch projects that will improve the organization’s practices. People from all levels of the organization will look up to you and ask for your input when making decisions. You’ll be required to:

      • Lead a team of 15 specialized experts and help the business sectors identify, analyze and control their risks

      • Actively contribute to IT resilience and obsolescence management by monitoring the effectiveness of our risk controls and indicators

      • Improve risk management practices and methodologies to maximize the impact on business units

      • Take charge of executive risk reporting and analytics to ensure sound decision-making in the management of our risks

      • Represent your unit to various decision-making bodies and manage executive stakeholders

      • Prioritize files to be completed based on their impact and inherent risk level

      • Collaborate with all Desjardins business units and with our 2nd and 3rd lines of defence

      • Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement and diversity, in keeping with Desjardins’s values.

      • Support your unit’s action plan by managing individual and team performance.

      What you bring to the table

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

      • A minimum of nine years of relevant experience, including at least four years in a management role

      • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

      • Experience managing risks

      • Experience in executive writing and presenting

      • Knowledge of French is required

      • Knowledge of the IT sector

      • Knowledge of specialized risks
