What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage the preparation of financial and compliance reports, including federal and state reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding financial reporting and technical accounting
- Research and interpret U.S. GAAP accounting standards for ongoing operations and new initiatives
- Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure consistency in financial reporting
- Streamline reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA license is required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience, including at least 3 years in Big 4 Public Accounting or large government contracting
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with complex technical accounting issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the Professional Services, Consulting, or Technology industries
- Familiarity with financial reporting software and control frameworks
- Experience in a global, multi-entity consolidation environment
