PURPOSE
• A key player in Global Sourcing in driving Sourcing’s vision to be the Most Agile, Most
Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry.
• Execute tooling sourcing strategies, perform audits, and certify local footwear mold vendors
capability, availability and enhancing quality performance.
• Deploy new and innovative tooling creation technologies that shorten lead times, driven
automation, bring cost competitiveness and enhancing mold quality.
• Support /consult tooling operations to ensure tooling development & commercialization
compliant with the brand designs, performance, timelines and quality requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute tooling sourcing strategies, perform audit certify adidas tooling capability and
performance enable tooling availability respond business scope.
• Implement new and innovative tooling creation technologies in term of driven sustainability,
technological capability, product security, supply based reliability and bring cost
competitiveness.
• Ensures business relationships between adidas, the certified mold factories and machine
suppliers are maintained at the highest level of trust and integrity
• In collaboration with Operations Managers and tooling teams balance the tooling allocation
seasonally enable optimize mold vendors’ capacity, neutral product complexity smoothen
sole production.
• Coordinate with SEA team regarding health and safety requirements and compliance in mold
shops.
• Establish, review and updated (if required) standards, best practices, manuals and process
as needed in all areas.
• Role model leadership to foster Diversity Equity & Inclusion culture that strives for an
inclusive workplace.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong technical knowledge of tooling design, engineering, mold making and manufacturing,
3D CAD Technology, CAM, and Additive Manufacturing
• Good technical footwear knowledge of product construction and manufacturing methods
• Strong influencing, people, presentation and communication skills
• Proven ability in leading multidimensional teams
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong Microsoft office skills

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• University degree in technical field
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in technical areas of tooling and
pattern engineering.
• A formal qualification in shoe making, mold making and lasting would be advantageous.
