Serve as the primary People Team liaison for the Finance functions, building strong relationships with leadership and teams.
Drive execution of core HR processes (performance management, compensation planning, talent reviews, development planning, etc.) balancing the needs of the client group and the People COE’s
Collaborate with People Team Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, DEI, etc.) to deliver tailored solutions that support department goals and enhance the employee experience.
Act as a thought partner and coach to department leaders on all aspects of talent strategy, organizational development, and employee engagement.
Support change management efforts by helping teams navigate organizational transitions and align around new ways of working.
Use workforce data and insights to influence decision-making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the supported function.
Provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliance with policies and employment law in partnership with the Legal team.
Look ahead to anticipate business needs by thinking critically about the Saks Global Finance org and employee needs as the context evolves.
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a HR Generalist/HR Business Partner capacity or related field
Ability to communicate verbal and written information concisely and effectively
Experience working with HRIS (ie Workday)
Intermediate knowledge/experience working in Google Suite and MS Office Suite, particularly Google Sheets/Excel
Experience influencing and advising leadership on talent and employment matters
Ability to prioritize workload and self manage projects
Experience running and facilitating HR programs/processes
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs/requirements
Creative problem solving skills and effective in dealing with ambiguity

Salary Range $96,000 - $125,000*Job Description:

The Manager, People Business Partner is a strategic People partner to the Finance organization at Saks Global. Reporting to the Director, People Business Partner, this role serves as a promoter and executor of key People initiatives and a strategic thought partner to business leaders, guiding and supporting efforts in talent management, performance management, career development, employee relations, workforce planning, and change management. The Manager, People Business Partner, will work hand in hand with the business leaders to achieve business goals and deliver high-impact initiatives that evolve the employee experience. The Manager People Business Partner will spot trends, identify emerging needs, and address them with innovative people programs, tools, and processes.
