      Clario is seeking an experienced Manager, Pricing & Proposals based in India to lead a high-performing team supporting global clinical trial sponsors.       This leadership role operates on European working hours, offering the opportunity to manage international projects and drive innovation in the life sciences space—all while based in India.

      What you'll be doing

      You’ll be responsible for leading Clario’s Pricing & Proposals team in India, ensuring high-quality deliverables, process excellence, and strategic collaboration across departments.

      • Direct supervision of the team, including task management, performance auditing, and escalation support

      • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members

      • Assign and distribute work effectively across the team

      • Collaborate with the Director, Pricing & Proposals to set and monitor annual goals and metrics

      • Review proposals, pricing, Statements of Service (SOS), and Change Orders for accuracy and alignment with financial targets

      • Coordinate with Legal and support client negotiations as needed

      • Partner with Strategic Pricing to implement client-specific pricing strategies (rate cards, discount schemes)

      • Lead pricing strategy discussions for large or complex programs

      • Ensure compliance with pricing and discount controls

      • Drive operational efficiencies and process improvements across the team

      • Maintain high data integrity in CRM systems and manage monthly reporting metrics

      • Develop and maintain departmental work instructions and templates

      • Provide interdepartmental training and support on proposal tools and processes

      • Support initiatives related to proposal management tools and content maintenance

      What we look for

      • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

      • 8+ years of experience in Pricing & Proposals within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry

      • 3+ years of direct people management experience

      • Expert knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical industry practices and terminology

      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

      • Expert-level experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

      • Experience with proposal/content management tools is a plus

      • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills

      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

      • A proactive, professional, and positive attitude
