      As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:
      • Managing and directing procurement activities to obtain best value for the company assuring on-time and on-quality products/services in local market by maintaining sourcing processes aligned with PMI Principles & Practices and Global/Regional Procurement Strategies
      • Owning Stakeholder Management for categories within the IM&S Scope including regular alignment and business reviews. Introduce and ensure buy in for innovative sourcing solutions that will drive efficiencies for their respective categories.
      • Supervising affiliate Procurement team to improve performance through clear objectives, assessment of training needs and provision of development opportunities. Guide / Mentor the development of direct reports.
      Your day to day
      • Define, formulate, and implement sourcing strategies at affiliate level and drive synergy opportunities on a global / regional level, based on business requirements, company strategies and supply market trends to drive productivity and secure best total procurement cost (TCO).
      • Apply the PMI Procurement Policy, ensuring compliance is observed by internal customers and suppliers; resolve or escalate (if necessary) compliance issues with/to the relevant business partners.
      • Ensure the implementation of regional/global sourcing initiatives in coordination with the relevant Regional and Global category managers to contribute to the overall cost savings targets and supplier base optimization defined at PMI level.
      • Leverage experience acquired implementing sourcing projects and operating new technologies to improve procurement expertise of the function. Conduct and interpret industry, market, and relevant macro-economic and supplier research for the category, provide recommendations from market analyses and benchmarks to internal stakeholders.
      • Actively participate on the negotiations with major suppliers locally to ensure key cost savings targets and quality standards of products/services are met.
      • Leverage supplier performance evaluation to segment the supply base and (re) define the whole Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategy.
      • Implement sustainability strategy and direct the team to embed into day-to-day sourcing activities and liaise with the wider team to action sustainability initiatives and drive sustainability within the company.
      • Engage with stakeholders in the Market to link business goals with IMS procurement strategy. Understand departmental or project strategies and to develop Procurement plans/strategies for specific projects or areas, cost estimates, & schedules for integrating these business needs into existing and future procurement activities that influence or support specific department spend optimization.
      • Optimize sourcing and transactional processes locally to the benefit of the customers and suppliers. Spend reduction targets defined for each of the business functions (price savings, cost prevention, cash release and Total Cost of Ownership savings)
      • Improve the performance of the team by setting clear objectives, reviewing achievements, assessing training needs and providing developmental opportunities.
      We are looking for someone who has:

      • University bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or Economics.
      • 7+ years of procurement experience, at least +2 years of managerial positions, preferably in indirect procurement from FMCG
      • Fluency in both English & French
      • Strong communication skills, people management skills and analytical skills.
      • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, particularly on key contract elements.
      • Ability to collaborate between Global and Regional functions.
      • Ability to lead high complex sourcing events (RFPs)
      • Comfortable liaising with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority within, and outside of, PMI
      • Financial understanding of: Budgeting process, Payment terms, Cashflow improvement, inflation, currency exchange, depreciation, others.
      • Communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively present ideas and results to local, regional, and global Management Teams
      • •Action oriented to fetch opportunities both at business and vendor side, to achieve productivities (Cost Saving & Cost prevention/avoidance)
      • Strategic thinking to co-develop procurement strategy aligned to business/functional needs.
