Our diverse, energetic, and collaborative Global Supply Chain Management team offers an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic growth-oriented environment in support of the Energetics Procurement department, which supports procurements for multiple mission areas. You will foster relationships with suppliers and subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services. You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of the various contracts.What You Will Do:
Preparation and issuance of RFP’s
Perform cost analysis techniques in support of proposals. Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms & Conditions)
Place subcontracts/purchase orders of medium/high complexity over the TINA threshold in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontracts (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).
Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors. Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives
Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical and quality) in support of flawless supplier execution for programs
Assess proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
Able to support travel as needed (up to 25%)The position is fully remote.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price, Performance Based Payments, etc.)Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field
Project planning and management skills (ex: MS Project, EVMS)
Experience in working with development type of procurement and major subcontracts
SAP based environment experience
Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) review
Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)What We Offer:

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
