      Key Responsibilities
      • Identifying the organisation's purchasing needs
      • Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products from quality vendors
      • Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales
      • Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of orders
      • Arranging transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
      • Understanding the target market and analysing trends to make informed buying decisions
      • Coordinating with Business Units
      • Monitoring the quality and escalating any discrepancies to vendors and management
      • Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
      • Meets with store associates and the customer relationship management team to get feedback.
      • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to analyze performance and make improvements.
      • Partners with Business Units to ensure that Procurement is treated as a go-to for all BU issues

      QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
      • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in supply chain, Engineers preferred
      • 5 to 7 years prior procurement experience
      • Excellent computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint)
      • Proficient in ERP
      • Critical thinking and strong negotiating skills
      • Impeccable attention to detail
      • Strong communication skills, oral and written
      • Ability to work well with a team
      • Ability to deal with ambiguity associated with a high-growth environment
      • Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
      • Analytical skills
      • Creative mindset
